Her background in both psychology and dentistry gives her a unique perspective. Having completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Melbourne before studying Dentistry at the University of Sydney, Dr. Sobiya understands that visiting the dentist isn’t just about teeth — it’s about trust, comfort, and knowing you're in good hands. She takes care to create a space where people feel safe, respected, and never rushed.

Before taking the reins at Ivanhoe Smiles, Dr. Sobiya spent more than ten years caring for patients in Fairfield and Templestowe.
